if pac, provo or khan could not knock chris out completely, what make you guys think that spence will, a guy with less experience, he does have knocking power, but not better than provod or pac, spence does not fight @ the paste pac, khan or provo fights, if chris uses his new fighting style and mix it up with the boxing he used to do, he will be fine, can win on points, also even if Chris punching power is low, spence chin will be put to the test if he gets punched regularly on the face.

After reading so many posts day after day where opposition level is completely ignored, this is a refreshing to hear. Believe me itll show in this fight. This is going to be a fan friendly fight. Spence will have his hands full. The experience that Chris is talking about will definitely play a major role in this fight. Exceptional talent and ability can overcome that experience, and although Spence has shown signs of that ability and talent, its never been against quality opposition. The bottom line is, if Algieri fights in his new aggressive style, Spence can pound out a victory. If Algieri goes back to his old style of sticking and moving, constantly keeping that jab in Spence's face, and throwing fast combos then tie him up, it will be a long and frustrating night for Spence. Chris has great foot work, decent speed, and some pop on his punches. I would love to see Spence win this, but I would not be surprised if Chris gets the upset. You don't fight the level of fighters like Provodnikov, Pacquiao, and Khan and not learn anything in the ring. If I was managing Spence, this would not be the fight I would make at this point.Comment

I don't see how you can call either the Ruslan or Khan fights one-sided or beatings. He controlled most of the fight against Ruslan and won. I thought he lost the Khan fight, but he certainly didn't take a beating and it clearly wasn't one-sided. Plus he went at Khan that entire fight. With all due respect I can't understand how you can't see what everyone else can see: A quick and brutal knockout highlight real for Errol Spence?
Chris has taken quite a bit of punishment in his last 3 fights and in my humble opinion, They were one sided beatings. Chris does have some good attributes like fast hands and good footwork but that's pretty much it.
Please believe me, once Chris feels Errol's power he will run around the ring for survival as he always does. And for the record I actually like Chris and I was cheering when he beat Provodnikov but Chris won't be able to potshot Errol all night and rack up points. Chris has no idea the type of pasting he is in for but good luck to him because he is going to need it
Spence has never been in the ring with anyone nearly as good as Algieri. Chris is tall, long, is an active thrower, and has proven himself as a good top 10-15ish fighter capable of beating champions. There are many fighters like Spence throughout boxing history who have looked like world beaters against nobodies and then struggled greatly when they stepped up to this level.Last edited by bojangles1987; 03-10-2016, 03:55 PM.Comment

I agree with you on the last part of your statement but I don't think Algeri is that fighter that will "expose" or make Errol look overrated, in fact he is the perfect fighter to propel Errol into stardom.I don't see how you can call either the Ruslan or Khan fights one-sided or beatings. Chris does have good attributes that I acknowledged in my previous post but I just can't see him keeping Errol off of him for 12 rounds. Errol will be relentless with ACCURATE power that will eventually overwhelm Chris.Comment

I'm not a big Algeri fan but he does have a point. People call him trash but his losses came from Pacquaio, one of the top two welterweights at the time, and Amir Khan who is a good fighter as well. Its funny that today losing against a good fighter makes you garbage. It will be a good test for Spence.Comment
