I kinda was feelin fo Byrd cuz that was a beating. To Byr'ds credit, he has heart and a good chin. Yea he got Koed, but he got up on both KD's EARLY despite how hard those punches were. Other contenders woulda gotten KOed in that 5th round punch easy. Byrd showed heart.

I agree. I have a lot of respect for byrd after that fight. he could have easily just stayed down but he kept coming. I would have felt even worse for byrd if it wasnt for his annoying wife,,lol. christ,,,shouting instructions to him like shes a trainor

Is it just me or do the POM POM girls (lampley and merchant) iritate the **** out of you. The bogus cheerleading has got to stop.Lets tell the truth Byrd is small heavy wait with declining reflexes and ball of steal. Wlad looked like a better then average big man beating on byrd but nothing that shows he is that great. He will however dominate the divison for years to come. His only true test would be maybe be Calvin Brock because he is big and can test him. Wlad chin was never the problem it was his stamina. Brewster never realy hut him. Wlad punched himself out. A remach would be useless and would result in a wlad walk through. Yeah that was a great fight, I enjoyed it. Even thought Wlad was a bit cautious at the beggining he let go in the later rounds.
