I respect Bozo's knowledge of boxing and have sought out his posts since I first started reading these forums last winter. All insults of other posters aside, he has plenty to say about most aspects of boxing. He even has a point in this thread, which is that we should not get excited about this match because we already knew Wlad had a great jab and a ton of power in hid right hand. Byrd stood in front of him and at the same time was unable to reach him with anything except a few relatively useless taps to the belly. Nonetheless I am ready to call Wlad the #1 heavy now, but that has as much to do with the way Brewster lost and the dra in the WBC fight. If you are a fan of Wlad's, as I am, you should have expected this kind of beating (although I expected Byrd to move a little more and thus last longer), and so should not think it changed anything.
