Of course Floyd will fight him, Floyd can't seem to stop mentioning him every time he talks about other boxers, even going so far as to say he'd make GGG look like "easy work." He even said a return to the ring would be more about legacy than money, so bring it on.

People need to stop bringing up Floyd's age as well, everyone is different. Floyd is by far the best 38/39 year-old boxer probably in history, I can't think of another boxer ever that has had the long career that he had and still been as close to his prime at that age as Floyd is now. He is still incredibly fast, skilled, and sharp in the ring judging from his last couple of fights.

If Floyd lasted 12 rounds he still wouldnt be TBE, but he would move up a few notches in losing. Think about that. Floyd should be able to last. BH could against Kovalev and its a pick em about whos the most dangerous out of GGG and Kovalev.

Plus there are enough fantasy fights. Whilst this one can get made id prefer it not be fantasy.
difference is Hopkins turned pro as a light heavyweight and worked down to middleweight where he was huge. His dedication to his craft and staying in shape year round helped him stay at 160 all those years

Mayweather turned pro at 130, and is on weight 1 month out from fight night.

If they fought, Floyd would be outweighed at least by 15 pounds. He'd probably request a weight clause

They said the same when he went up against a bigger guy in his prime who had a 99% knockout record (Diego Corrales), then we found out that Diego Corrales couldn't even touch little Floyd.

They talked about Pacquiao's in and out movement, speed, power, and overall boxing ability, and then Pacquaio, apart from round 4 and 6, couldn't even touch Floyd Mayweather.

Golovkin-Mayweather would be a whitewash in Mayweather's favour. Golovkin wouldn't even be able to touch him, especially if Floyd desides to use his backpedalling counter punching style from the get go.

Golovkin will look lost and frustrated just like Cotto, Canelo, Maidana 2, Pacquiao, Marquez, Mosley, and Dela Hoya (can't believe they said that fight was close when the guy landed less than half of Floyd's landed punches).

It's always the same story with Floyd. They say he too scared to take the fight, then when he signs the contract they make fun of him for how he gonna get knocked out and/or outboxed. Then when he wins they cry robbery or cherry picking.

Same story here. Floyd gonna come back from retirement next year in May and fight Golovkin not at 154, but at 160 (He's already been hinting at it), then they gonna say, "who has Golovkin beat anyway?"

Just look what happened to Wladimir Klitschko. He could no longer use his hand to eye coordination to throw any punches against Tyson Fury due to his diminishing ring skills and advanced age.
No. Klitchko was scared, plain and simple. It had nothing to do with age. He simply avoided engagement for fear of being knocked out.

It'll never happen. If Froid fought a ******ed flat footed ginger at 152 i dont think he'll fight a skilled fighter like GGG ever

Golovkin would cut off the ring and hurt Floyd real good. GGG wins that fight at 160. Brutal ending.

Floyd knows he avoids guys with a size advantage. No disrespect to Floyd. Size matters.

Look at Margarito, look at Paul Williams. Floyd doesn't want to fight guys who are bigger than him. He avoids those guys.

Could he drain Golovkin down and get a weight advantage? That's his only hope. GGG offered 154 at one point, so maybe Floyd puts it out there. But maybe Golovkin really can drain down successfully and still perform. Just maybe. I don't see Floyd taking that chance.

We'll see. I'm hoping he stays retired like he should.

Floyd would lose that "0" if he fought GGG regardless of any weight advantage. GGG is just too good. Floyd knows this and is just talking smack.
