Aging champions routinely going out with a whimper. Larry Holmes couldn't deal with in and out style of Michael Spinks. Granted Holmes had been struggling with opponents going into the first Spinks fight but he could never pull the trigger in the fight.

In the rematch he was focused and probably won but he had burned so many bridges with comments that he it was easy for the Nevada judges to go with the champion.

He looks old as hell. Fury wins easier this time around.

No way he threw the fight. Going into the fight Wlad talked openly of trying to beat the Louis record for length of reign and total straight defenses. Both of those records are now unassailable.

To me he looked a combination of confused and semi shot. He has always been economical but here it was to a bizarre length. Short of landing a bomb I can't see the rematch being different as Wlad is so scared of gassing out.

Appreciate the non-trolling response, quite unusual around here. This is why I posed the question.
