No way, he's 50 years old and hasn't fought in 13 years. When he left boxing, there were just a couple of top guys his height/size, Vitali, Wlad. Now there's top guys his height/size all over the place, that even tower over him. Fury, Wilder, Joshua, Wlad, Martin same height, Ortiz is an inch shorter. This is a much different state of HW div than in 2003 when Lewis, Vitali, Wlad were like the only good tall heavies. In 2001-2003 the next tall guy after Lewis was Corrie Sanders, everyone else was much shorter than Vit, Wlad, and Lennox.

          That makes sense.

He could make an unsuccessful comeback and lose to Wilder, Fury and Ortiz because of his old age and the diminished skills that go with old age. He is far too intelligent to make the mistake of coming out of retirement. He is a very wealthy man enjoying a comfortable life of leisure. He has the money to do whatever he wants to do, drive whatever car he wants to drive and live wherever he wants to live.

Lennox is way too old to compete with any of the top 25 guys. He's looked kinda fat for quite a few years now. He retired just in the nick of time. He didn't want to fight Vitali again. If he was confident that he could have beat him he would have taken that fight and earned himself a few million dollars. He was smart to quit when he did and to stay retired.

It is over, didn't you see what happened to Razor Ruddock recently?

Lewis is a old man, not a good idea to take punches anymore.
When Foreman came back, he was only 37. He retired near his prime, Lennox was about to lose.

As much as I would like a fighter to come back, 50 years old and not fighting for 10 years, not a good idea.

Not after 13 years of inactivity and at his age.
