Does Khan need a win over Garcia?

Whether he loses or wins against Canelo, do you think Khan will be plagued by his KO against Garcia for the rest of his career if he doesn't avenge it. I mean most casuals I know who I speak to about Khan always mention that fight, much the same way as a discussion on Naseem Hamed always ends up with how Barrera schooled him.

It seems some loses need to be avenged no matter how good you do later in your career. I reckon if Ali hadn't fought Frasier again people would have said, "Oh, but Frasier whipped him real good.."

If/when he loses to Canelo, a win over Garcia would be great as far as appearances go. Actually, it's great for him in a number of ways. I think Garcia has declined since going to 147 so he would be a good pick for Kahn. Risky, but the reward is there.

I think he needs any win of note he can get.

I already know him as a guy who can't avenge his own loses. His people run with their tales between their legs and say they should have never done it. I don't know how the hell this guy thinks he is worth anything getting his ass whipped by Prescott and running from Brook.
