  • If Mikey Garcia Returns. . .

Does he come back as a Super featherweight and test himself against the likes of Uchiyama, Fortuna and Walters or does Mikey move up to Lightweight and got for a world title in a third weight class?

Big fights are certainly there to be made in his former stomping ground, but after a 2 year lay off can Mikey boil down to 130lbs pre-fight and look anywhere near his former self?

The Lightweight division is certainly weaker than the super featherweight division and I believe Mikey Garcia at 80% of his former self can unify said division. The only drawback here is there aren't many big money fights to be made and at 28 years of age there isn't much time on Garcia's side to make good money.

Light welterweight I feel is a step too far.

What division do you feel Mikey Garcia will prosper best in?

wth? so he doesn't plan or training at all?

Mikey is not good against guys who can take his shots and every top guy at 140 takes his shots. Even Broner at 140 would probably beat him.

Maybe so, but he's approaching his 30's now, i think he'll be 29 this year. I think the age he's at where he's been inactive are the years when he would have found it harder to drain himself down anyway.

I'm sure he said 140 in an interview and i guess he knows his own body and that's where he's comfortable now. Whether he can compete there or not is another matter. I would assume he might try to go for 135 first though.

135 would make sense, as it seems a better fit for him physically.

He'll probably fight between 135 and 145 for tune up, then I can see him campaigning at 135 and 140.
