Comments Thread For: Khan: Beating Canelo Would Make Me Pound For Pound Number 1

British superstar Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) views his upcoming fight with WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs) as the perfect opportunity to overtake the throne as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the sport.

It would enter him in the top 10. I have never seen a fighter go from not being in the top 10 P4P rankings, to going #1 because of one fight.

He spilled it and its exactly what i expect; Khan has no intentions on winning, he just wants to get KOd by one of the big names, retire and claim to be one of the best...bcuz he was KOd by one of the best. Hes a Khanjob. Simple.

"You have to give Canelo credit, he is probably No.1 at the moment. Being a boxing fan myself and by being around the boxing business, I can see he is a massive name around the world."

Is Amir's brushed velvet lapel sporting the moistened stain of dribbling fanboyism? . . . I think it may well be!

King Khan the Ticket Conductor, speeding from Guadalajara through the sunny strips of California all the way to the desert sands of Vegas! . . . "All aboard Bro!"

                Choo Choo Mother****ers!!

yes it would make him no1, when firing on all cylinders and at his best and dont underestimate anyone.
He would be p4p no1 for only as long until he next loses. If it was a good win for Floyd it is exceptional win for khan. Plus khan has a very good resume already. You take risks you got to be rewarded.

I personally dont think Nelo is top ten, but everyone else seems to rate him.
