It only highlighted just how far behind boxing is in comparison to the UFC at this point. Nobody who bought that card was complaining beforehand, and nobody will be complaining afterwards. It delivered value for money, whereas the vast majority of hyped boxing matches massively underwhelm.

If boxers stopped being such gutless, risk-averse p*ssies and actually took risks in and out of the ring, we'd probably get nights like this in boxing on a regular basis.

            Amazing fights tonight.

Holly vs. Miesha was great. Holly was in total control of the fight and her inexperience caught up to her in the final round. I think she's a lot better than Miesha and will regain her title in a rematch.

The McGregor vs. Diaz fight was spectacular. I was on the edge of my seat in a bar and the place was going nuts from start to finish.

That's real entertainment. Not these horrible mismatches we get on HBO and Showtime.

The good news is Conor likely won't suffer much from the loss, he still has his belt and will continue to draw big numbers.

These boxing 'stars' need to take notes about the benefits of taking risks.

I agree, that being said I enjoyed the Vargas vs Ali fight.

McGregor takes steroids to make these massive weight gains.

Golovkin sure has hell doesn't, and I'm not too sure if Canelo does at this point.

UFC can be boring. The fights before the co mains were pretty boring. The thing that UFC is just lapping boxing in is match making. There are good fights every other week.

McGregor was going to fight at 155 anyway and Diaz is a 155 fighter. So it really doesn't matter still huge props to Connor for not caring either way.

Exactly. Boxing fans are really bitter that ufc delivers more entertainment than boxing.

Connor'sgoing to suffer a lot to me. Let's face it Diaz is a 155er not 170. Connor was going to fight at 155 regardless. He needs to beat Nate in a rematch or he takes a huge hit.

And I think he can win a rematch too. He cut Nate up early and got too ****y. I keep telling people that. They say I'm just making excuses but it's true. If McGregor uses his feet and fights with angles like Cruz does then he would beat Diaz with ease.

That said if he loses...the aura is just gone. I'm not even sure he can make 145 for much longer either.
