I don't think so. Broner has an immaculate record against boxers. As a matter of fact, Paulie was the only boxer to give the "Problem" problems. Other than that only pressure fighters give him problems.

I don't like Broner.. But if he threw more punches and stopped trying to emulate Mayweather... He would be a great fighter...

Broner has an immaculate record against underwhelmed and overmatched opponents, so no I do not think there is a chance in hell he will be beat by Theopane.

He's not supposed to, but it's possible. Broner should win.

Actually I find it very bizarre that Mayweather would side with such a mediocre fighter and him a title fight. 5 years ago maybe it would have been much more balanced. Who knows, maybe he pulls it off, he is a veteran and has never been stopped so he knows something about defense/surviving/avoiding hard punches.

Theophane got completely outclassed by Delvin Rodriguez and countless others. Broner shuts him out easily, may even get a stoppage.

He has no chance of beating Broner. Not because Broner is so good but because he is so bad. Mayweather is a great boxer but often a terrible judge of boxing talent. Boxrec ranks him the 79th best 140 pounder in the world. I remember a time when champions were expected to defend their titles against top 10 world rated fighters and not number 79. This is a disgusting cherry pick by team Broner. Broner says he will score a highlight reel KO but he can't do that because he is fighting number 79.
