I think it was the other way around. Peter had him hurt by crushing him to the ground 3 times.

Yeah, but 2 out of 3 times were caused by rabbit punches followed by pushes. Those were illegal. The third time did not even have to happen -- Wlad was gassed out and lost balance.

      So none of these count.

I've only watched the fight once. So really I can't argue but I remember 3 knock downs and don't remember it having any questionable knock downs. I thought they were clear knock downs, I think they were scored as clear knock downs.

yes, they were scored as knock downs, and wlad did go down. however, 2 of the 3 were caused by quite clear rabbit punches.

I'll have to watch it again. I was hoping Peter would get the KO in that fight.

The "haters" so to speak wont every like Wlad... but asking them to respect him is another story. If he can win tonight decisevely, and continue to win while unifying some belts you can't not respect him. Granted the odds of that happening are slim to nill given the current climate of the HW division, but hey, a guy can dream.

1)he will need a style not based on being near 7 foot.

2)he will need a fan base of people who really enjoy boxing, and are not watching him because they want a white champion, and therefore can watch two lumpering giants and fool themself into thinking they are anything but twin p.o.s.

3)he will need to get his confidince back.

4)he will need to go back in time and stop universum from padding his record and cheating for him so that he could win against bums.

5)beating brewster and sanders is not nessisary but fighting well aginst them is.

6)he will need an offical website where the forums are not filled with white supremacist.(it was very disturbing to go there.)

I don't hate Wlad... there are probably some fighters I'd pull for him to beat, but I don't really like him. The problem is that there is probably only one reason I don't really like him... HBO. I got so tired of Larry Merchant and Jim Lampley cheerleading for him before his loss to Corey Sanders I thought I was going to have to throw something at the tv. During a Wlad fight, he would hit someone and knock that boxer in the ropes and the HBO crew would be "wow, what power! ____ (insert boxer's name here) was clearly hurt!" But when someone knocked Wlad into the ropes they would be "I think that was a trip more than anything else..." or "Wlad isn't hurt at all!"

I shouldn't let commentators sway me either way for a fighter but I can't help it. I didn't like Mosely at first (I do now for some reason), don't like Trinidad, don't like Taylor.. mainly b/c of HBO's bias comments during their fights. I've always thought that commentators should be neutral (Teddy Atlas does a good job of this I believe). Anyway, ****** reasoning on my part. I was jumping up and down in glee when Sanders knocked out Wlad... and the only reason why was b/c it would finally shut Larry and Jim up about him. But in all honesty, I didn't like Sanders any more or less than I liked WK.
