Unfortunately this is the cause and effect of internet boxing in 2016. Another example is Chad Dawson. A lot of my American brethren were riding with Dawson until he got knocked from his perch, I doubt many even recognize him anymore.

Klitschko lost the mental battle way before the fight in the ring.

And Fury's team beat Klitschko's team in every department. They outsmarted them inside and outside of the ring.

No you didn't, but it wasn't a factor before the fight. And he didn't even look old in the ring - he looked fresher in the later rounds than in the early rounds.

So as I say, it is an excuse and nothing else.

Fury is just a better fighter than Klitschko. That's what we saw in the ring. He almost won every round.

First of all everyone saying he is shot are full of it. He isn't shot, he might be in decline, but not shot at all. He has always been gun shy when he had someone he couldn't hit, only difference was Fury could hit him, rather than getting clinched, leaned all over and jumped on.

I knew this would happen to him when he fought someone his own size with decent ability. Many posts I wrote about this, he isn't what he was made out to be, a very good heavyweight don't get me wrong, but there are plenty who would've torched the guy.

As far as his fan base goes...there are some good ones, but for the most part classless pieces of crap. Some of which don't even show their face here anymore. So in that sense I understand the thread. They try and devalue past great heavyweights to try and give the Klitschko's a one up in terms of legacy, which is the exact opposite of the respect shown by the Klitschko's themselves to past era's and champions. To me they are the worst group of fans I have witnessed on NSB, and I don't say that lightly at all. I have been here longer than most.

I don't like the term "fan" or "disciple", but i like Wladimir Klitschko... His legacy is rock solid, even with the loss to Fury, and i want to see a rematch...

How is his legacy rock solid? His best win is Haye which is a good win but has not beaten anyone of any note before and after.

Couple that with the fact that he finished the fight much stronger than Fury and finally, he lost to the first person who he couldn't hug or catch. Fury is an awful fighter in any era and Klit got humiliated.

I believe Klit will win the rematch and I'll respect him for doing so but his legacy is tarnished.

Bro just because it was a factor before the fight it doesn't mean it's not legit. Kovalev got his props for beating Hopkins, but it still doesn't change the fact that he beat a 50 year old.

Fury was a better fighter in that fight, wheter he's better than Wlad in general we'll see in a few months.

He also said Mormeck is a copy of Tyson (or something like that). Fighters say ****** **** all the time, I've learnt to take their words with a grain of salt.

And he clearly wasn't in his best shape ever, he might have trained really hard like always does, but physically he was better against Haye for example. We all get old and most are in denial about it when it's actually happening, I know I will be lol.

Anyway, I've given my props to Fury, beating a champion as dominant as Wlad was is impressive, wheter they were old or not.
