    Antoine Douglass breaking out tonight

I think Antoine boxes the ears of Khurtsidze and maybe stops him late. The confidence this kid has in himself is a breath of fresh air in this sport. He showed great resolve in his fight with Soro, where the other guy was stronger and more experienced and he's been matched up well since and looked great.

Should he win tonight, he may be moved into BJS's #1 mandatory. Hopefully they keep matching him up against good fighters this year and keep him developing to his full potential.

Good story on Antoine growing up, being a nerdy little kid to a well rounded adult.

Khurtsidze gave N'Dam hell in their fight, putting alot of pressure on him and rolled forward like a tank. He's so compact it can be hard to land good shots on him while he's in his guard. He's also had top sparring for this fight, working with Derveyanchenko, Khytrov, and Marcus Browne. He was all set to have a fight 3 weeks ago with Giovanni Lorenzo, but missed the weight and the fight was canceled. He made weight last night and looked fine, so he's in top form. Great test for Douglass tonight.

Douglass is listed as 6'0", Khurtsidze as 5'4". 8" height advantage. Khurtsidze must be the smallest middleweight ever...

I thought he beat N'Dam. I'm looking forward to this fight the most.

would be cool if douglas and magomedov had to fight an eliminator to become BJS's mandatory. would also like to see a rematch with soro before he gets a title shot

i bet BJS would be more open to taking his medicine from golovkin if he had douglas or mago knocking on his door

i really like haymon's stable from 154 to 160. i hope being gym mates doesn't stop them from fighting each other down the line

fair play to him, i didn't see that fight, and have seen next to nothing on him, his record indicates he carries power, but considering he couldn't drop n'dam, who has a chin made out of paper mache...then i dont think antoine should worry TOO much.

Curtis Stevens never dropped N'Dam either. Khurtsidze kept N'Dam on the run all night, HNN never stopped to trade like he did with Quillin. I'm interested in seeing how well Douglass plays matador and if he has the power and meanness to make Khurtsidze pay.

Interesting rumor that if HNN wins his fight next weekend, they'll announce HNN vs BJS next.

My favorite prospect right now. Antoine Douglas. He was taking it to Soro (who is also a favorite of line, very crafty fighter) and got rocked BAD late. Somehow stayed on his feet to hang in there forever draw. Had it been a 12 rounder Soro might have stopped him.

Douglas is a beast and I've been on the bandwagon for awhile. Plus his Mom is awesome in the crowd. Big Momma.
