That one without gloves looks a lot better than the original shown here. Still, I detect that the body is holding him back, though. I understand why he wants to come into camp big, but he needs to make sure the focus is on speed from here on out. Weight can slow down a body big time.

I can't agree. He's just throwing his arms with no movement in the hips or legs like you'd do in a fight. Anyone can flail their arms quickly. If he expects to fight like that against Canelo the show will quickly become be a snuff film.

The problem I see here is not the fat, that will shed. But, there's not going to be much muscle left and that's the concern.

The only fighters I've seen that keep a pretty fit look when there not fighting are young fighters and black fighters.

It's real. There some older pics of him at the beach out there. What u expect! Khan only fought one time last year. And when he fights Canelo is would be almost a year from his last fight. So believe the weight.

I don't know, he looked trim at the press conference. Could be the suit hiding the fat, but if the pic is real...wow...Im actually looking forward more to see the fight just to see if he's really that fat

There are two things I've got out of this thread.

1. Most boxing fans don't know jack about fight preparation. It's two months away from fight day, what do you expect? 4.5% BF? It's quite clear a ton of fans don't know anything outside what they see on PPV day.
