I'm not saying Jennings sucks or anything. Or that his resume is as bare as Ortiz's. I'm not saying Jennings isn't a good win for Ortiz. I'm just saying Jenning's resume is thin. His performance against Klitschko was solid, but he lost to a guy who mighta been done already as he didn't seem to show up for his next fight. He nearly lost to a "changed" (imo) Perez post-Magomed fight. And Szpilka got his lights turned out by one of the most primitive skilled HW champions in a decade or so a couple years later.
Granted they are good wins or respectable losses even with my angling & downplaying of them, but lets not just act like they weren't without issues & those being the highlights of his career doesn't make for the most amazing resume in the world or anything. He's a guy with 21 fights. Its no crime to have a thin resume among the top ranked contenders. Hell for a HW with 21 or less fights he might have the best resume.
Plus I don't think Ortiz was a good style matchup for him so I just can't throw a Ortiz parade like many have been quite yet. Maybe I'll have my Ortiz parade after a KO2 of Thompson tonight idk.
