I'll echo what most are saying. I don't think any version of MAB beats Manny, ever. I'll also say that yes he was still in his prime, on the backside of it, but still close to his best. A fighter does'nt go on to do what he did after that fight and be some way past it fighter versus Manny, that some would have you believe.
Did Pacquiao beat a prime Barrera?

As a Morales fan I was never a Barrera fan at all, always thought he had that arrogant (tight Levis wearing) Mexico City attitude. But with that said, hell yeah Barrera was in his prime, I remember before that fight people talking about what a little bad ass Barrera was, it was funny to see him whimper into his corner...I don't mean age wise prime, but by the time Barrera faced Pacquiao he'd been in some hellacious wars and seemed like he was just going through the motions. The Barrera that beat Hamed and Morales was something altogether different and don't tell me that it was only 2 years, it's an awful lot in Barrera years...he didn't coast and fought the best. I believe the zen version or the mad max version of Barrera pre-2003 would have starched Pacquiao, and I'm a Pacquiao fan.Comment
