Whats the point of even having weight divisions anymore?

Since we have fans who think its ok for a fighter to just make up his own weightclass because "he's the a side, he calls the shots, he took the short end of the stick, so now he can short others", why not just do away with divisions all together and then fighters can just hammer out deals and fight anyone at any agreed weight?
Then you factor in that these same weenie fans say belts don't matter anymore, and it makes even more sense to do away with divisions. We don't need champions anymore, we can just count up the dollars the fighter made to determine who is the best, right?

      + a lot

Floyd fan's disagree though because they instinctively defend everything their hero did including ruining the sport by completely turning it into a business.

People that supported catchweights at any time have no right to complain. Just because it's for a title doesn't make it anymore wrong/right, the reason for the catchweight is just the same.

Catchweights between fighters from 2 different divisions is fine, but explain how they are necessary when both fighters are in the same division or just bounce.

I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing you again.

let's not dwell on what people who DKSAB have to say on matters.
