Yeah, and the reason for his reputation is that boxing is more of a business than a sport, and it's so unregulated that the MW champions were allowed to run away from Golovkin and he also made other MW's look regular.

I will say it again. Sergio Martinez said GGG is off the charts. That's the same I see when I see GGG. If you see something else, that's your problem.

Golovkin DUCKED Lara, and stated that Willie Monroe was a bigger draw.

Golovkin AVOIDED Ward by demanding a catchweight, but was willing to fight every other man and his dog at 168.

Now Hypekin will not even negotiate with a little red kid who is far ahead of him in terms of accomplishments/popularity.

At this point there is only one entity that can force a Canelo/GGG fight in September; HBO. They control when, where and whom Canelo and GGG fight.

If they choose to let Canelo fight someone else and then gives us say Bhop/GGG, and posters support those fights, they really have no ground to bitch and moan about the fight not happening.

i won't support that fight, it will be on par with this one, hopkins will be like 52 plus they might get him to go down in weight.

Golovkin fans who criticize other fighters for making risk/reward decisions are WAKK...... he is clearly a manufactured fighter.

Golovkin promised the world, and yet they have obviously steered him away from every mover/spoiler and provided him with a lineup of guys with favorable styles.

Which is boxing 101, it is all about styles/matchmaking.

But if you are a middleweight , and Golovkin can land on you, then you WILL get that fight, no question.

Golovkin has not fought one single opponent outside 160, and he has clearly avoided 2 movers/spoilers AT 160...... so what happened to all of his promises?

And, why do you as a Golovkin fan, require Lara to " force " that fight?

You people are assuming Golovkin wants the Canelo fight. He doesn't. He wants all the MW belts. Canelo has the WBC belt and Gennady wants to take it from him. With or without a fight. It's the MW belt.

Every day, we receive more confirmation of what will happen: Canelo will give the MW belt to GGG without a fight.

Canelo knows more than likely he will lose against GGG so he is being smart with it. If a fighter loses his stock does down so why should canelo risk that? unfortunately there is not enough fighters that want to be great this day and fight for legacy. I honestly think it can wait until Golovkin fights a named opponent. Be it Lara or (as sad as this is) Hopkins. While the fight makes sense for hardcore fans right now, for the promoters to really cash-in there needs to be some build-up. As ****** as Canelo-Kahn is, there is a ton of interest already. Genady doesn't have any momentum and is the weak side in the marketing scheme here. Give him someone that will fully introduce him to casuals and convince them to fork over PPV money.
