Why are people making it out like Canelo is slow?

Slow feet
Average 1 punch hand speed
Fast combination speed
Solid iq speed
Solid refelx

Pretty much if you stay still or go rt to him his speed he does have looks better

He has only looked slow against 2 of the best technicians in the game. (floyd and lara)

Fair enough he can be flat footed but I've seen many people label him as a slow, plodding fighter. In respect to his hand speed this couldn't be further from the truth, watch his fights against the likes of Lopez and you'll see that Saul Alvarez had very very quick hands and despite Khan being quicker (than almost everyone anyway), Canelo has very good hand speed. He's a very good combination puncher who mixes them up and is slicker than given credit for.

I agree, slow feet but quick hands and lets not forget, very good upper body movement, which he showed against two good fighters in Trout and Lara. Canelo can make you miss and then pay you back with interest.

Problem is, having those slow feet against someone who uses a pop and move strategy makes his fights closer than they should be. Why? Because he often isn't in the right position quick enough to pounce on his opponents.
