Comments Thread For: Mayweather Offers Calculated Response To Broner Trash Talk

As only he can do, Adrien Broner managed in the same breath to heap praise upon his figurative big brother Floyd Mayweather Jr. and then take a dump on his promotional enterprise.

The latest occasion took place during a press conference held Monday afternoon at the historic W Washington (D.C.) Hotel to promote his April 1 clash with Ashley Theophane, The fight will headline at D.C. Armory, airing live on Spike TV with Mayweather Promotions - who promotes Theophane taking the lead on the event in association with Broner's About Billion Promotions and Head****ers Promotions.

Ashley Theophane, he's working with a top trainer (1996 U.S. Olympian Nate Jones, who opted to instead give instructions in lieu of turning pro) and he's going to shock the world on April 1.
By "in lieu" does the author mean the actual definition of the phrase? Which is, 'instead of'. Because Nate Jones DID in fact turned pro and went 17-2. He did not opt to become trainer 'instead of' turning pro. He was a pro boxer then became a trainer. He won bronze at the Olympics.

Ass clown, why would any network or promoter be involved with such a de****able excuse for a boxer, human.
It's such an insult to the professionals in this sport. TMT get some balls and drop him.
