they're only slightly below average, and there was a competing showtime card. plus crawford isn't a big TV draw and his opponent was uninspiring

      the number is fine

now, showtime on the other hand...

So next weekend they'll have competing shows once again, except this time they'll both be going up against a massive UFC ppv.

ouch the ratings for both were terrible. i expected showtime to do bad numbers they have not had enough good fights for boxing fans to keep the network but i expected crawford lundy to do better then they did.

boxing is in a dangerous place right now and these networks and promoters are not making competitive enough fights to keep up the interest of the casual fan.

one things for sure tho showtime is going to have to pony up and start making fights again or their numbers are going to keep diminishing cause aint no one paying 10 or 15 a month for showtime when they are hardly making any fights.

make of it what u will but with showtime struggling and most big fights going to pbc and hbo cutting their budget its looking more and more like fights are going to slowly come to regular tv.

very weird things going on in boxing right now

Not bad numbers at all. Competed against a popular Santa Cruz fight and a basketball game with pretty much the most popular guy in the nba right now (Curry)
