Pretty good ratings for Crawford considering his opponent wasnt that well known.
Good that he is pulling good crowds to the arena and viewers to TV.
You yanks are onto a good thing with Crawford.
Showtime boxing is crashing badly. -
Pathetic for Showtime! They should be ashamed and Espinoza should be fired immediately!!! If the J-Rock fight this weekend does under 300K Espinoza has got to goComment

Shows that HBO has more subscribers than SHowtime and maintains its place among fans as the network for boxing.
Casual fans believe the better fights are on HBO and watch more often when HBO airs fights. that's all that matters.Comment

Even at 300,000 or so the LSC fight still split the boxing audienceComment

No this proves that Haymon has run Showtime into the ground. Just a year and some change ago Showtime was pulling ratings on par with HBO. The Golden Boy split with Haymon and Haymon creating PBC has killed their creditably. If you look at the time line from the moment the lawsuit was settled and GB and Haymon went separate ways that's when Showtime went in the tank with ratings. It's not about the size of subscribers. Wilder this year does 500k ratings on Showtime when last year same time on showtime did 1.2mil ratings. You go from the best promoter to 3rd rate promoters and Haymon taking all showtime fighters off their network last year crippled Showtime Boxing. Since then their ratings are down across the board around 50%Comment

Seriously if boxing ends up dying this decade we can firmly point the finger at haymon.Comment

What were the ratings when Wilder fought on SHowtime? Last year I believe he went over 1 mil, of course that was a quality fight.
WHy would you point the finger at Haymon? HBO banned him. Their ratings are off as well. Maybe that's the decision that is causing all this.Comment
