I wouldn't call Dibella 3rd rate, Wilder # on Showtime vs Spillska ****** balls but he did avg 2.345 on NBC against a nobody and his KO been viewed over 3.5 million times and did good attendance at Barclays.

Keep on beating on your anti PBC propaganda drum, Hope GB pays you by the word because your on your way to being a very rich man
yeah Wilder's ratings on Showtime have more to do with the state of Showtime rather than Wilder's drawing power.

I had absolutely no idea that Santa Cruz fought on Saturday. None at all, I JUST found out now with this thread. And that Kiko Martinez guy is not a bad fighter from what I remember seeing from him in the Frampton fights and the Mathebula and Hasegawa matches.

HBO gave Golden Boy a crap load of fights for the guys in his stable because they wanted to keep Oscar happy and on HBO not because of Schaefer. 2 years in a row promoter of the year WITHOUT that snake Schaefer. I think it's safe to say it was Oscar's brand that made Golden Boy big not Schaefer. Dibella is the best promoter Haymon has right now but he is not a big time promoter. And the rest are all small promoters. And getting 2.3 rating on NBC is terrible considering what NBC and it's competitors (CBS, ABC, FOX, ect draw with new content on prime time) and even worse when you consider that PBC debuted at 3.4 rating earlier that year and EVERY since their debut dropped in ratings. Just because you compare it to HBO/Showtime which is premium cable and totally different business model don't make those good ratings. Those cards on NBC lost so much money for PBC that we aint seen a single NBC fight or NBC affiliate station fight yet in 2016 and is why Haymon has sent all his fights back to Showtime instead of PBC because he can't afford to air them. He paid millions for Network Airtime that he simply is not using. Dan Rafael who works for ESPN just reported

I'm told the 2016 #PBConESPN debut, delayed from January to April, has been pushed back again. No shows until June at this point. #boxing

That's how well Dibella has been at promoting these Haymon fights. Jacobs vs Quillin which he promoted drew only 300k viewers and ratings so bad and lost so much money that he is simply deciding not to air any fights on NBC until mid april and no fights on ESPN until MAYBE June.
Why wouldn't Haymon use all off Showtime budget makes sense to me
Keep those words coming your paycheque will be huge this week, I could care less what Dan Propoganda Rafeal has to say the guy is a absolute joke for the sport and is so biased it's not even funny. You think it's a coicindence that HBO and affiliates got almost all those year end awards and dominate their top 10 P4P rankings. I know you qoute Dan and Steve Kim and all those other clowns but they do more harm then good in growing the sport.

I'm not going to lie I thought GB was going to be on life support but they've done a great job putting on decent fights for the most part I can't lie but don't act like It wasn't Shaeffer who built that that it sure wasn't Oscar who was going all Tony Montana dressing up like Bruce Jenner while sucking on Dild.os. The guy couldn't even make it to Mayweather / Canelo He's a figurehead that's all and his value is decreasing by the day.

As far as Holding off on shows I just think PBc is waiting for HBo to spend thier budget in the diary 1/3 of the year then come on strong in the summer / fall. I guess we'll wait and see

Keep writing those words I'm sure your paycheque is going to be huge this week. Uncle Oscar is probably very proud of of you and your dedication

Yeah I don't get how Showtimes # have fallen of a cliff so fast. But Wilder is a bigger star in the last year that's for sure.

              That's not enough.
Even though I think Paulie is a ****, the Showtime broadcast team led by him and Bernstein is really good and it would be a shame to see it go. But those ratings are terrible and they need to turn around quickly. Kind of depressing to see slumps across the board like this. But then the matchmaking isn't worthy of much better either.

Farhood has completely turned into a PBC shill. Now of course I'm used to a little media bias here and there, but man Farhood takes it to a whole new level.......

It's sad that SHO's last 4 cards (headlined by DeGale-Bute, Jacobs-Quillin, Wilder-Szpilka, and Santa Cruz-Martinez) haven't had one fight break 500K. Their best rating over that stretch was exactly 500K for Wilder-Szpilka.
The numbers were shockingly low for that one, someone in the promotional department really ****ed up on that one. Showtime can't catch a break. I expected the HBO numbers (would've cracked a million without competition), but the SHO ratings are very low. Didn't Mares/Santa Cruz do well? HBO has been doing decent numbers for mismatches, why can't SHO replicate that?
