Anyone know why Showtime ratings are struggling like this? Quillin-Jacobs only did something like 300k as well.
Ratings: Crawford-Lundy 982K, Santa Cruz-Martinez 297K

LOL at those terrible showtime numbers and that will continue with the way they are going. something has to be done. they need to pony up for lomachenko vs walters because showtime's schedule is garbage.Comment

that game was fcking incredible.
too much crap to do nowadays. boxers need to do something to catch the mainstream's interest if you're not that superstar boxer like floyd or manny or a lower tiered star that is representing a prominent nation in boxing like mexico.
maybe slap a gay ****** on video or something.Comment

Yes I think that's the main problem. Showtime had very little fights the first half of 2015 and 2014 had a bunch of garbage fights. 2012 and 2013 gave them great momentum, but I think the slump from 2014 through the first half of 2015 cost them attention and viewers. There's no reason why Wilder and Broner should be getting less than 500K viewers no matter who's it against.Comment

Luis Ortiz is starting to make a name for himself too and Ali could move up a level if we wins the belt Saturday.Comment

it would be a shame for loma-walters to only get 300k-500k viewers on showtime when it can assuredly get >1m on HBO. hopefully nelson opens his wallet for the cardComment
