Comments Thread For: H. Fury vs. Aguilera Added To March 26 Wembley Show

It's not the leap he sought for his first fight of 2016, but Hughie Fury has landed an opponent for his March 26 appearance at Wembley Arena in London, England.

Fury's promoter, Mick Hennessy revealed on Tuesday that the unbeaten heavyweight will next face Nagy Aguilera. The bout will serve in supporting capacity to a domestic middleweight title fight between Nick Blackwell and Chris Eubank Jr.

Nagy Aguilera is a sold journeyman test. He throws punches & is always coming forward. He has experience against several fights listed above & he derailed Maskaev's career before Maskaev / Sam Peter's eliminator fight. He instead got to replace Maskaev to face Peter in the eliminator which lost in a couple rounds. Good test for Hughie. He could be very surprised by Nagy' skillset. Solid C level journeyman.

They were talking about Hughie chasing all of these top guys. A bit let down by this choice.

They attempted to get Ustinov & Fedosov but they had other plans. Fedosov wanted a full training camp. Tough to get guys on short notice. I'm sure Tony Thompson would have taken it if he wasn't fighting Ortiz. THought they might call Kevin Johnson over but Aguilera is a decent test. He is better than any of his previous opponents.

Talk a big game but buckle when the big names call you out, apparently 6-7 weeks wasn't enough preparation time for Hughie Fury he needed that one more week lmfao.

When the called Hughie out for Wilder he had 12 fights against D level trialhorses. Team Fury actually called out Tony Thompson right after he lost his second title shot to Wlad. David Price's team beat Team Fury to Thompson & look what happened? It rejuvenated TT's career. He's been in some big fights since. I doubt Team Fury is opening up the vault for their opponents...

Wilder trying to fight a 21yr old rookie on 2 week's notice just shows what a ***** he actually is.

                  6-7 weeks notice**

AJ has more balls than Hughie does and considerably less acne.

Hughie is a 21yr old kid, a bit of acne is just par for the course. I'm aware that you haven't hit puberty yet, but when your balls drop, you'll get a few spots as well.

The difference is, Hughie is a professional boxer & a future star of the sport, you're just a fat nerd who wanks over Lara Croft.
