Comments Thread For: McGuigan Calls Carl Frampton The Best Ever From Ireland

Barry McGuigan believes that IBF Super bantamweight titlist Carl Frampton (22-0, 14 KOs) is on the fast track to becoming the greatest fighter Ireland has ever produced following his decision win over WBA counterpart Scott Quigg at the Manchester Arena on Saturday night. Frampton boxed his way through the quiet early rounds then traded late to take a deserved split decision win.

Now that Frampton is the unified 122-pound world champion, I see him stepping up to 126 to face Santa Cruz for his 126-pound world title. They will fight in America. Frampton will win. For sure

        They'll be a rematch.

Frampton-Quigg II is still the biggest money fight out there for both fighters.

Yes don't insult Steve Collins by saying that. Say it after he has won several big fights at the highest level like Collins did. Celtic warrior #1.

Steve Collins for sure. Was not really impressed by Frampton in his last two fights.
