Comments Thread For: Arum: Crawford Heading To Los Angeles, Provodnikov Possible

Coming off his successful debut in New York this past weekend, where Terence Crawford stopped Hank Lundy in five rounds, promoter Bob Arum now has designs of taking him out west for his next outing. One of the options Arum is considering is the former WBO champion at 140-pounds, Ruslan Provodnikov (25-4, 18KOs).

You know, it isnt a necessary fight, but it would be fun, and I wouldn't mind seeing ruslan get one last shot at a title, especially because you know he is going to bring it. I won't be mad if it's made.

Crawford gains nothing from this fight. It would be another win, against an opponent who has a significant size/reach disadvantage. For sheer entertainment, it's a good fight.

That he's willing to make Walters-Loma but not Crawford-Postol is really strange. I would've expected it the other way around, Crawford and Postol have established themselves, Loma clearly needs building and Walters might aswell use it since the draw and new division he's in.

                I love it.

Great as styles match. Make it happen.
Fans pay to see fights and this will definately be a great fight.

Arum called him up and talked to him... so seem like it's going that way.

Provo DGAF and this would be a fight people would want to see...so good choice.
                  Definitely his toughest to date

                  With that... looks like Cotto/Chaves

It's not the best fight for Crawford (Herrera or Postol) but it's a fight I wouldn't mind and would be fun.
