I personally don't like European fighters, especially english ones. Fighters like Ricky Hatton, Lennox Lewis, and Scott Harrison make me sick, although I do respect Lewis. But The Prince was simply too cool. He was the coolest fighter since Muhammad Ali, and he had some skill. He was an amazing puncher, had blinding speed, and a good chin. He kept coming in the Barrera fight, and never gave up hope. He was not the greatest fighter of all time, but he was entertaining and exciting. I think people should view him like Gatti, his show was the attraction.

      he's easily my favorite featherweight..

the way he would drop down two-three inches before letting off a power shot was unique, while trainers teach conventional /southpaw fighters to do this, most fighters don't take full advantage of it. Naseem would dip down low and come up hard with everything he had! even with punches like jabs, he'd start the punch from like eight feet away from his opponent.. dip a little bit and come forward with all his lower body strength on the jab..a pleasure to watch, he was

edited: I'll always remember the way George Foreman sounded when he saw Naseem's power against Kevin.. he was in awe, 'That was power from Naseem...'

Naz's unorthodox ways were his biggesst asset, & his biggest liability.

i never liked Naz in fact shouted for MAB when they fought but he is constantly belittled on this site, not out of hatred just out of ignorance.

Poeple think prime hamed was gainst MAB, bull****, he was at his best 2 years prior to that when he was fighting with INgle still in his corner.

Peple should do proper research and watch some of his early featherweight defences before poouring scorn on a talented fighter.

One ****ing idiot even had the balls to call him a protected Euro Bum.

Which is just ignorant beyond belief. I cant even be bothered to argue with suchb a moronic statment that a three belt holder IBF, WBO and WBC is protected and a bum....hmmm how many of todays greats can profess to held three belts at the weight.

          not ****ing many.
I just love the way the americans have a go at Naz but he KO'd their top 2 featherweights, 1 of them in their own backyard

Naz deserves more respect for his fighting ability but to let Barrera retire him up is lame, unless Naz comes back and does things he will never have any real respect.

alas, a smart one from across the pond who can sympathize as to what we americans feel about naz.

(we'll just pretend for this once that you're not a raving hatton fan, and i'm not a raving cotto fan)

                  LOL

Naz had some skills but he took that defeat like a *****, getting beat in boxing isnt too bad but letting Barrera rough him up made me lose a lot of my respect

he was a decent fighter with a lot of flash. He proved what kind of man he was when MAB whooped him. He deserves little if any respect!

unlike a lot of people on here, UK hate is not my thing. lewis was a great champ, eubanks a awesome one and tito trinidad is my favorite (j/k) ... and nigel to me was THE man. its just being taken for a straight *****, like how it happened to naz, then to fall off the face of the earth. his **** talk was unparalleled, so it was just that his bark was louder than his bite and yeah, not because he fronted islam, not because he was from the UK, it was basically becasue he got bitched by a mexican.

simple as that. had that happened to a puerto rican, he'd be just as hated.
