You're separating out one game that's part of a 15-year deal ESPN has with the SEC worth over $2 billion.

That's less than what Adonis Stevenson vs Bika did on a Saturday afternoon irc.

Yep! PBC is already getting in the ballpark of $8M a year from Spike. They will be able to get other deals in the $15 to $20 million range at LEAST.

PPVs subsidize the budget. I guess if they're successful with Kovalev/Ward winner, GGG and Crawford they can move them to PPV to bulk up the schedule.

I'm too lazy to look up more games. Feel free to do so.

The Time Warner budget cut was in addition to that. This is a totally separate issue.

                • HBO seems content with putting on mismatches that result in guaranteed beatings. That's why they love golovkin, chocolatito, Kovalev. They dont care about competitive fights overall because it seems they're having success with those guys. It's like they've found their niche and can't be bothered with good fights anymore. I think they realize what gets ratings and can't be bothered trying to build anything. I don't even stay home to watch their cards anymore. I bailed on the Crawford fight and recorded it. Their cards are a waste of time.
