I think this would be a decent fight to make, i might edge Mcdonnell aswell, Quigg doesnt know how to control range thats why he lost the fight, whereas Mcdonnell has shown he can fight moving forward and back.

Frampton's got too many better options at the moment Donaire, Rigo, Santa Cruz. They're all bigger paydays.

McDonnell is in a lower weight division too and would have to move back up which I'm not sure he plans on doing.

i think frampton's strength would be too much for mcdonnell

but i am surprised that hearn isn't more interested in involving mcdonnell in big domestic cards. there's the lee haskins rematch too. but he seems content to let him take on risky foreign opponents on american undercards
