I'd bet my life you cried about one of your favorite fighters...being drained...either Canelo or you cried that Pac was catch weight King etc.. or you cried about Triple G asking for 164..

Fan boys have no consistent positions, so they just argue out of pure fanaticism, you can't really take their arguments seriously because their arguments change depending on which fighter is the topic of debate...

Dude flat out ducked Loma...whom a win against would have made him a star and put him back on network television...

Let his fan boys tell you how great Rigo is without mentioning how he clean ducked Loma over a measly 4 pounds...
I'd enjoy seeing the Loma fight, but Rigo is relatively small for 122, 126 is actually something of a big ask. 4 pounds is also more for lighter fighters than it is at higher weights (it's about bodyweight percentage). His win over Donaire was a quality win; it was also the start of his blackballing. The suits wanted Donaire to win, and they also have general contempt for him (as well as contempt over his victory).

Love how Rigo always gets blamed for his fights being "boring." I mean, his opponents could always sell out, then get KTFO. But they always seem pretty content to stay at a safe distance being occassionally jabbed and pot-shotted to a UD loss. Still can't figure outhow that's Rigo's fault

Funny, because I recall him headlining a HBO card after that and putting in an abysmal 'performance' that saw them do the lowest rated main event in the history of HBO's Boxing After Dark. He even got another chance a few months ago to redeem himself on the undercard of the second biggest boxing match of the year against some bum that was brought in for him to knock over and he looked even worse.

If he's blackballed, it's purely on him and him alone.

I understand that Rigo is somewhat polarizing.

As for your comment, did you consider that maybe he had a fight left on his HBO contract?

That's more likely than not, that's how these things work. E.g., that doesn't discredit my post (which I freely admit is speculation, but that's how it seemed to me).

I like watching Rigo fight. I think he's a wizard in the ring.

And I am apt to tune out on a fight when I see a guy who's a well touted boxer who is 20 and 0 with 6 KOs.

So I'm not an absolute purist.

Boxing requires patience, and the low KO percentage takes away the suspense, and I'm overall not the most patient person there is.

I've never considered Rigo boring. I like watching him slide around the ring and outbox fools.

But, people have their own opinions.

Rigondeaux is the king at 122 . Frampton and quigg have ducked him and now , even though rigo is the mandatory for frampton , who won , frampton will duck him .

Rigo exposes frampton and he knows it ;that is why frampton will vacate the wba title ....

Rigo is the king at122 ; he will be avoided until he dies .....

Hit and not be hit ; you can not hit what you don't see .

How do you sell out against fighters who run and clinch and never get warned lol?

I don't blame Rigo or Floyd for that matter for being boring..I blame the judges for scoring rounds for Rigo and Floyd when they do nothing offensively and back-peddle... actually blame Rigo for ducking Loma over a measly 4 pounds... while Pac fought 8 divisions about his first and gets killed by internet fan boys more than anybody...
