I've always liked Martinez but i think he needs to maybe hang then up now. Or at least operate at a lower level. He's not going to beat the good fighters up at 126, he's too small.

I'd like to see Santa Cruz Vs Selby now.

Fight Cuellar,Gary Russell not smaller fighters moving up to 126. The canelo movement has started with these Mexican fighters
He would beat Russell. I don't see Gery fighting any but CANS! Ohh and when he did he LOST!

Santa Cruz has impressed me for a while, and he gets too harshly criticised by everyone on NSB. He is going to be very difficult to beat, he is like a 126 pound Margarito to me.

After watching Frampton and LSC, I wanna see Frampton vs. Gary Russell Jr. and LSC vs. Rigo! LSC needs to stay at 126 for another year at least. I think Walters would hurt him bad!

And that's the way I want to keep it! He makes me a TON of $$$$$ betting on him. Casual fans don't know boxing. Heck he's going to be tough out for anyone at 122-130. The only one I think could beat him would be Rig. The rest are 50/50 at best. I still would favor him over Russel by Decision. If the fight is in Vegas, Texas, or Cali??? Damn...No one is going to get a decisions against him.

Great Fight Martinez fought well but Leo just had that reach on him. He had a hard time getting around that long jab and combination that followed. Martinez did all he could do last night. He backed him up came in aggressive but it wasn't enough. Awesome fight though Martinez has nothin to be ashamed of.

If these two fighters were Americans as opposed to Hispanic people, I'll bet this fight would be considered one of the top most entertaining and exciting fights in boxing history. Actually I had more fun watching this fight than the one probably considered the best fight of all time, Hagler-Hearns. The fight last night was 100% non-stop action from beginning to end, both fighters throwing hard punches at each other, no clinching, no running, no shenanigans, a couple of knock-downs and an exciting KO ending. But it was far from a silly street fight with no technique, on the contrary, the left hook from the Spaniard was state of the art, while most of the Santa Cruz shots, most specially the uppercut IMO, were technically flawless and extremely accurate. It was good all-action fighting, not a senseless brawl.

I love watching fighters that go TO FIGHT.

Even though I don't like Manny any more because he has shown his true colors as a close minded brain washed religion zealot, I'd still have loved a Manny-Santa Cruz fight, both of them at about the same age and weight division. It would have been a punch-throwing slugfest, and if it would have gone to a decision it would have definitely broken any records of thrown punches!
