Frampton won about 8 rounds i thought. I had it about 8-4. 7-5 would be generous. I could see how some might have it a draw if they really wanted Quigg to win and tried to give him every round possible, which would mean some of those early rounds. But Frampton was really controlling the early pace.

What i will say is Quigg probably won his rounds a lot more convincingly than Frampton did, but he simply never won enough rounds.

Just got done watching the fight and I had Frampton winning 8-4, 7-5 worst case. Froch is on that rock and I am baffled at how they thought it was that close. The first 5 or 6 rounds, Quigg didn't do a damn thing while he blocked much of what Frampton threw, he didn't do anything to warrant scoring because he didn't throw anything.

It wasn't until Quigg started to open up Frampton was able to look as good as he can be.

Quigg was the one who made it a poor fight in the first half of the fight.

Quigg was the Sky Sports fighter, I'm sure he was only trying to make the fight seem exciting and worthy of the money the Brits fork out for the likes of Quigg, Bellew and Whyte.

If Carl Froch says its pumpkin pie the Brits eat it all up and thank their puppet master.

Love how fans downplay this win, but this win is better than any win Rigo has in his career, including one-punch left hook hype-job Donaire...

Whether you downplay this win or not...still a bigger win than anything Rigo did so Frampton should be ranked one at 22...

You can't be serious, the only thing this fight clarified was upgrade from two bum fighters to one garbage fighter and donaire would beat both of these c level bums back to back.

Yeah, I doubt Donaire would beat either guy...he has one punch, the left hook, and that punch only really knocked out smaller guys and guys with absolutely no boxing skill...

Frampton would attack Donaire with a variety of attacks and be able to handle his one-punch power...

Rigo gets dropped by bums all the time..go look at his career.. he even got dropped by Donaire and was lucky to make the 10 count...

I had it 116-113 with the first round a 10-10..

Having Quigg winning is kind of ridiculous, he did nothing the first half of the fight..a rematch would be interesting

Frampton is an idiot if he is questioning a split decision, my least favorite boxers are these types who talk bs all week and then they get in the ring and do nothing. This was a complete snoozer for the first 6 or 7 rounds the announcers said it was tough to score because nobody was doing anything. Sorry UK fans Frampton is not a main event PPV star.
