    Yep, there's no way on earth Quigg won more than 4 rounds. He simply didn't.

            The Sky announcers had me cracking up the last four rounds. They literally downplayed anything Frampton did.

              9-3, 8-4 for Frampton. Quigg did nothing for too many of the early rounds.

                agreed frampton clearly won. he got to far out ahead before quigg had any success was obviously a hearn judge the one who had it for quigg

                  While Carl clearly won, it wasn't much of a statement really. He won the early rounds by out-throwing Quigg as much as out-landing him which isn't anything to get excited about. In the championship rounds he looked basic enough on the inside with no real ability to smother/slip Quigg's offence and average enough countering on his own part.

                  Frampton's a nice fighter who's lovely to watch on the outside. But it wasn't the sort of win that elevates him in the minds of core fans and media. He remains undefeated and all that jazz, but he remains a step short of the truly elite level as well.

                    Quigg didn't disgrace himself. He got outworked, but just the same. He goes back two steps, back to C.
