Look, I would prefer to see Mayweather fight Margarito next too, but you can't blame him for not doing it. Right now, if Floyd fights this guy that nobody has heard of, he will get no credit for beating him. Likewise, if Floyd wins, people will write Margarito off as nothing. Nobody wants to see either of these things happen. How bout Floyd vs. DLH now for more money than Floyd's ever come close to making...let Margarito win a few more big fights...and get him in 2007? There will be trillions of points bet if this fight goes down, with the loyalty/nuthugging at an absolute maximum. If for no other reason that should make everyone want to see this fight. But there are plenty of other good reasons, such as the fight being great for boxing.

No doubt Floyd is waiting for the outcome of the Oscar fight, I don't recall him saying anything about his hand in the post zab interview, I could be wrong though. Either way, if he somehow doesn't fight Oscar, and manages to not fight Margarito.... Floyd fans will have no choice but to stay silent, and hang their heads in shame.

Im not really a Hatton fan but I like watching him box, in other words I dont always back him. Hes fighting Callazo for recognition in the USA. It will be televised for us Americans to see. Alot of people believe Callazo is on the same level as Mayweather because holds a title, these are the same people that still think Gatti is the ****. These people contribute money to these fights even if they aren't avid fans, they still make up the majority of people that will tune in. Building a fanbase so when he massacres him people will talk about him and more people will tune in.

Just right now espn said that Margarito accepted 1.5 million to fight Mayweather. Mayweather, as word is going around will make 8 million

Now if that ain't a huge difference of money then I don't know what is. But this tells us three things. 1. Floyd would be getting paid a LOT of money to fight Margarito 2. Mayweather is a ***** for not fighting Margarito and 3. Margarito under priced himself especially since Margarito is very deserving of a title shot.

If Margarito accepted 1.5 mil to fight Floyd, then my hat's off to him. I'm not really a Margarito fan, but you're right he deserves the fight as much as anyone if not more.
