With news of TGB Promotions securing the rights to promote the featherweight title fight between Lee Selby and Eric Hunter came the working theory of staging the bout in the United Kingdom.

The concept was confirmed by Eddie Hearn, whose Matchroom Boxing serves as Selby's local promoter and has designs of loading up an April 9 show in London, headed by Charles Martin's heavyweight title defense versus unbeaten rising star Anthony Joshua.

I don't see what Hearn could of did better with Selby or DeGale

Respect for Degale has shot up a lot since he came over here to beat Dirrell and then Bute. The timing is perfect for him to have a fight in England now then go after the winner of Chavez Jr vs Badou Jack.

PBC has really benefited him.

I do agree that not fighting often enough is a definite concern. Several of these guys are staying idle for too long and that isn't good for their development.

I get what Hearn is saying. Especially in regards to Selby.

DeGale might be one though who doesn't fight in much in the UK now unless it's for a voluntary that will still sell well. As it will be hard to get some opponents over to England for a fight.

It will be tough to get the balance right for some of the fighters, it will bebeneficial to all though if they can.

Brook has lost momentum since beating Porter. Everything he's saying about other fighters the same can be said about Brook. He's fighting Bizer ffs! Chaves, Rios, Bradley, Guerrero, Algieri, and others are better fights than Bizer. Eddie wants 3 mismatches and one good fight a year.
