I remember he did an interview in either Jet Magazine or Ebony Magazine years ago. I remember Al Haymon from back in the 80's when he would do the Budweiser Music Fest. When they would run the commercials on the radio they'd say 'brought to you by Al Haymon'. It was always the best shows and I used to think who is this Al Haymon guy. People have already formed opinions on him without really knowing him. Through the people he is associated with, people just tend to not like.

That and the fact that he is challenging the ever honest Bob Arum (Top Rank) and Oscar DLH (GBP) backed by HBO..... well you see what's happening.

You've got clowns like Steve Kim who send out like 15-20 tweets everyday bashing Haymon and PBC, while praising Arum.

As a fan of Haymon & this PBC concept I'd love to see a interview with Haymon about this whole thing.

But...its not gonna kill the negativity lets be for real. Boxing fans are maybe the worst sports fans in all of sports. Certainly ATG top five worst sports fans. If you've decided PBC &/or Haymon is bad already you're probably gonna stick with that decision regardless of an interview. The only way the majority of the fans negative about PBC right now switch up is about 5 years after PBC is successful in creating a NFL of PBC (assuming they can & do) they'll be ****riding them & acting like they can do no wrong like they act like the power structures in boxing can do no wrong today.

The fact that he's black makes his look shady. The man has been in business for over 30 years and the boxing business for 17 years and nothing shady has come out about him. You can't be shady and operate that long without something coming out. Trying to make boxing more mainstream is so bad for the sport. Let's keep boxing on premium TV between two channels where fighters are signed to exclusive contracts and no competition. Yep, that's grown the sport so much....Next you'll say he's just like Don King when the only thing they have in common is race and birthplace.

Yes, and that's why he should do the interview. Not so much so people know who his is, but rather what his plans are. Plus he can act charming or whatever so people will be less inclined to subject him to so much negativity. He's viewed as a mysterious criminal because that's how he carries himself. Always in the dark, hidden. People deserve the right to know the man, the FACE behind this huge PBC boxing movement.
