I think the writer got confused when he wrote the title of this article. I think he meant to put Povetkins Promoter "PRAYS" Deontay Wilder will Vacate WBC title. #theydontwantnone #1xWilder

No boxers were involved, try again.

My point is, USA is no better than Russia when it comes to testing or protecting their best fighters.

If he drops to fight Tyson Fury instead then I have no problem with that AT ALL!

Why are you being intentionally difficult? The same organization implicated in the athletics doping scandal administers drug testing for boxing in Russia as well. That's why Durodola and Wach's positive tests from their last fight in Russia were wiped out. The Russians tainted their samples.

It takes a straight idiot to believe that Russian boxing is clean. But I'm talking to Szef here. The same guy that believes Gennady Golovkin is a brave warrior willing to fight anyone from 154 to 168.

Why would Fury fight Wilder without a belt? This is why I don't believe Wilder will drop it, because the belt is all that makes rank4/5 Wilder relevant. Look at how the division currently stands, Fury has a few options:

Top tier - Fury, Wlad, Povetkin
Mid tier - Ortiz, Wilder, Parker/Takam, Joshua/Martin, Pulev
Lower tier - Stiverne, Chisora, Glazkov, Scott, Thompson, Jennings

Wildcards - Haye, Vitali (heard rumours, but pretty slim chance)

The Wilder-Povetkin fight offers Wilder a chance to reach the top of the division for the first time. But I guess its starting to make too much sense for boxing..

I don't think he will drop either but I'm just saying that if he drops it better be for a great reason and not just because he doesn't want to go to Russia
