I dunno but Fury and Nelson have now both said the same thing. Wlad fight wouldnt blow my mind because thats what I already thought was happening...

Maybe its all just BS. Hopefully, as I quite want Fury to solidify his win (if he can) and I also want Wilder to fight Povetkin and establish the true no.1 contender.

I reckon Fury is probably more enticing than Povetkin though with the belts and notoriety he would get from beating him

Fury looks vulnerable too, even if he isnt in reality.

Nelson implied that the opponent would be after the Wladimir rematch but that he would announce it soon. Doesn't seem to add up. I think he might be referring to Hughie's next opponent. Either he got his wires crossed or he didn't explain it right.

            Yeah true.

The thing is i suppose, Wilder-Fury is a massive fight which will make lots of money on both sides of the pond. By the time both fighters had finished promoting, pretty much everyone in the world would be tuning in, on PPV.

Povetkin-Wilder isn't really a money fight, it's just interesting to the hardcore boxing fans. American casuals won't know who Povetkin is.

Be funny If it was Lennox Lewis but If Its a big surprise fight I guess It'd be Vitali but not a good idea for Vitali not unless he still feels good and capable.
Vitali before he retired would wipe the floor with Dyson but that's been a while since now.

I guess the money is there with Povetkin, with Ryabinski and all, but not the notoriety.

Povetkin is a great win, but it isnt lineal HW champion win. Thats the kind of win that makes you money from the fight AND from how you can sell yourself afterwards.

Either way we will just wait and see. Like others have said Wlad doesnt seem to be indicating he will be retiring. Could be just Fury winding people up lol. Probably trying to build hype for Hughies opponent announcement or something

I'd be ecstatic if the superior Klitschko brother returned to the ring to spark out the current chump of a champion, avenging his incompetent little brother (again) and cementing his place as the H2H GOAT

That would make clear once and for all, the fact that Vitali could have dominated the past decade if he wanted to, if only his brother hadn't claimed almost all belts during his 4 year layoff. Vitali could have trashed Wlad at any point if he wanted to
