It's quite pathetic. And they make so many excuses about not fighting Ward and then come around and contradict themselves so many times.

The Kovalev fight was 14 months ago.

Got me there, for once. ****ty fight, hope it doesn't go down. But if it does, its cause that's how Hopkins wants to go out

Unless this fight gets signed and becomes official it's merely just speculation regardless of what Loeffler says. Golovkin wants a big name and they're just trying to make headlines, nothing more.

Golovkin's Promoter "If Billy Joe Saunders isn't going to fight, if Canelo isn't going to fight, we would consider a marketable name at 168lbs and Hopkins is more active than Andre Ward, so it makes sense.

That tells you how little respect he has for our intelligence

The ******ity and ignorance from some posters in this forum is just hilarious.

Calling themselves boxing fans and dont know **** about the sport. Just here to troll and hate.

BHop wants the fight. If Canelo and BJS keep ducking GGG and he gets called out by BHop you think GGG should duck him? Then ya'll say GGG ducks Hopkins.

Some of you guys are seriously ******ed.

Ward fought twice in the last 3 years.

Bhop fought four times in the last 3 years.

              You surely are intelligent.

I think it's great. GGG couldn't possibly have fought Ward at any weight because Ward never put a written offer on the table. That is the way real fights are made not by some free publicity bogus call out in the media. In the time frame Ward was supposed to fight GGG Ward had no fights at all.Why didn't Ward fight one of the 168 pound champions? You know. Guys his own size and not in a lighter weight class. If Hopkins wants this fight why are you crying about it? As far as the 168 pound weight goes what is the problem. Hopkins has been a pro boxer for over 20 years. Don't you think he knows what weight he can fight well at? He had no problem make 160 when he was 40 and you don't gain muscle mass from 40 to 52. If you hate this fight then don't watch it. You would b*tch about any fight GGG had coming up because you clearly hate him. I like Hopkins and GGG and I look forward to these two great fighters sharing a ring. If Hopkins is as bad as you say then Ward should have fought him. Ward likes those easy fights like Smith for example.

There are reports that Hopkins has agreed to terms
