It's 20 years later. People have forgiven Tyson. And Tyson now comes across as a relatively self aware, likable guy now, unlike Floyd. And Tyson the fighter was about 100x more enjoyable to watch than Floyd the clencher.

Don't twist history. Floyd's best win is PAC who is smaller than himself, he isn't overachieving, if anything its a testament to how overated Floyd is.

Dumb arguments, Khan is not 40 years old, Khan is not an undefeated 5 division world champ, Khan was never asked to go up to fight anyone, my previous post was clear, there has never been a fighter that was ASKED to move up 2 weight classes at the age of 40 after accomplishing what Mayweather has accomplished or even without accomplishing what Floyd has accomplished, either expectations are too high for him or people wanna see him lose by any means necessary.

Duran wasn't asked to move up to fight Hagler, Mayweather wasn't asked to jump from 140 to 154 in 2 years to fight Dela Hoya, Roy Jones wasn't asked to fight for the heavyweight title, these are things that they did for other reasons, but it wasn't an obligation and it should never be, Floyd Mayweather paid the price and made the sacrifices necessary to get the big fights with Gatti and Dela Hoya, these are the fights that made him who he is, he had to move up in weight, accept all conditions of his opponents to get the fights, is GGG willing to do that? Is Canelo willing to do that? Was Martinez willing to do that? Absolutely not, so u can't criticize the man for anything.

That said, if Floyd won, the excuses would come non stop starting about round 9 or 10 when Floyd is up 7-2 and continue for another year or so.

People will do just about anything rather than admit floyd is just better than their favorite.

Like his own fanboys (all six of them) wouldn't spin every excuse they could think of if Mayweather himself ever lost.

If Floyd lost to GGG, they'd be spouting stuff like:

1. Floyd was foolish to take a fight against a much larger opponent.
2. Floyd was pushing 40. A younger version of Mayweather would have won.
3. It was only one fight, if they fought 100 times, Floyd would beat GGG 99 times of those times.
4. Floyd is still a better overall fighter and superstar with a better resume than GGG.
5. Floyd is still TBE, GGG will never have the superstar status, fame, and money that Floyd has.
