I don't hate Floyd but the 2 times I really felt he had a chance to prove how good he was found a way out. I remember when Margarito, Williams and an undefeated Cotto were there for the taking he retired. He knew he had to fight at least 2 of them and he was outta there. The Pacquiao thing also bugged me, I thought he would have won that easily but he waited until Pac got decapitated to finally fight him. other than that his resume is weak....De La Hoya sounds nice but he was a 34 yr old addict and he barely beat him. Castillo had like 6 losses and 5 were by knockouts and he clearly lost to him. Lets not pretend that the fact that Floyd had just signed a 5 fight deal with HBO and his first opponent was Castillo wasn't the reason he got that gift. He can say what he wants but no way he would have ever fought Golovkin, he had a catchweight on Canelo and had an issue with Maidana wearing gloves the commission approved. Maidana for christ sake who got schooled by Devon Alexander and beat an overrated Broner. I'm glad he has his money and can retire happy but come on man. I mean if Oscar was in his prime and clean he beats Mayweather easy.
