Is boxing "boring" as of late?

I've seen the term "boring" thrown around in quite a bit of threads on here lately. I somewhat tend to agree. I mean, it's been a while since we had a semi-decent fight. The last great fight we were supposed to have was Wlad vs Fury and that turned out to be a bigger snoozefest than Mayweather-Pacquiao.

This is the reason that I no longer show displeasure with blatant mismatches involving two "exciting" fighters anymore. I could argue about how bad Khan vs Canelo is but in all honestly it's all we have to look forward to right now. So I'm not complaining. It'll be competitive while it lasts.

There are fights on all over the world every week. Just because you have an account on boxing scene doesn't mean you are not a casual fan. If you are only interested in name fighters then that's what you are...As long as it's to guy in the ring trying to outbox and outfight each other I'm not bored. PBC's youtube channel is great for regular updates if you don't watch live...

Walker vs Pearson was a great fight..Both were undefeated...Pfft GTFOH, you'd be happy if Wilder was knocking out more bums? Not excited about the Povetkin fight coming up? Quigg vs Frampton Thurman VS Porter Algeri vs Spence Jr??? Man what the **** are you talking about...Cotto will fight either Marquez or Provdnikov on June 18....Verdejo fighting an undefeated prospect for the first time this weekend... Boxing is awesome right now ...

I enjoyed this past ShoBox card outside of that robbery. The Tuesday night FS1 cards are pretty good too. And this is an Olympic year too.

Boxing in America is, and will continue to be, about half as good as it could be until the promotional cold war ends.

Boxing is reasonably healthy in other places around the globe, but America (love it or hate it) is the boxing heartland. When boxing suffers there it has a knock on effect everywhere.

The list of fights not made due to this stand off is getting ridiculous. Something has to give.

            Yep, boring.

            Floyds last opponent ******.

Canelo-Cotto didnt live up to the hype, it was atleast a good matchup though.

GGG still fighting cab drivers. Ward still fighting cab drivers.

Fury vs Wlad buildup was good, that it was an upset was good, but the fight itself was sloppy and boring.

            Thurman-Porter cancelled.

Pac-Bradley III, nobody wants to see that chit.

Arum continues to not do anything with crawford, even though he owns all the top guys at 140 and people really wanted to see crawford-Pac

Canelo-khan is a complete mismatch but Im really looking forward to it in the freak show kind of way, plus everyone wants to see Khan destroyed and shut up.
