Well i guess the whole demeanor thing is somewhat the same but unless its a big role i dont see how he can nail it. It doesnt even look like its gonna be built up or be a big release anyway since it said "in select theatres" in the article

yeah its a independent film I believe and those never get major release.

I think Usher will be fine as SRL. It's a serious role, he'll be up for it. Anyone talking **** don't know **** about filming. Stick to trying to know **** about boxing.
Edgar Ramirez, i've first seen him in The Bourne Ultimatum, I can see him as Duran. The guy that was first rumored from Mozart In The Jungle, Gael Garcia Bernal would have been great too. But I think Edgar Ramirez will be fine. It looks like he can def pull off the beard and the Duran look, and he is a good actor. Can't wait for this movie.
