Fonfara would beat Hop right now so its a better fight. I guess this was GB's negotiation, get Hop spare Canelo. GB fighters and ggg are jokes.
Of course hoe ass Hoya would love for Hop to rid Nelo of Lil G....MARK MY WORDS, HOP WILL BEAT LIL G!!...Krusher is bigger and better than Lil Flea!!...so I hope dudes ain't gassed by what Krusher was able to accomplish
GGG wants Canelo and Suanders, but they are scared. B-hop is willing to sacrifice himself to save Goldenboy. That's pretty beast.
That's exactly what GB is trying to do..imo they not gonna fight Hopkins it's all talk..wen I see a contract I'll belive it..hope it don't happen..it's pointless. .GB just trying to keep Canelo away from 3G as long as possible..even if Canelo Saunders or Jacobs dont happen in September. .3G should fight a MW...as for Ward. .ppl already know da situation...
he slowly is turning into the biggest joke in boxing. hell never live down the ward fiasco with his willingness to fight every other fighter from 154-175 except ward
Except Ward, AND Canelo. Basically, any fighter that could potentially kick his ass. Has to make sure he has all the advantages in his favor, but doesn't hold the cards to enforce it. That's why he's where he is today, at 34-years old. He's a wannabe superstar. They've been trying to sell this guy for five years yet no one is willing to buy his PPV except his idiotic fans that are blinded by can crushing streak.
His last fight he looked all of 50. Body, movement, punches,....everything. 50.
Call it a career and enjoy promoting. You're not leaving the sport, just the ring
I keep reading this, but the guy fought IMO the #1 P4P fighter, and the #1 LHW fighter in the world, in his prime, and lasted 12 rounds. Yeah, "almost" got stopped, but you either get the stoppage or you don't. I will also add that until Ward proves otherwise and retakes the thrown, Kovalev is by far the best and scariest fighter from 160 to 175, no one in those divisions can beat Kovalev. Kovalev will make any fighter look old, not only Hopkins. Pascal looked 40 against Kovalev he's in his early 30s, Cleverly barely put up a fight he was in his 20s, Sillakh was even worse, he was in his 20s too. Truth is Hopkins at 49 years old lost a 12 round unanimous decision against the best fighter in the world, and one of the most dangerous punchers in boxing. I am in the minority, I think Hopkins not only goes 12 with GGG, but also would be competitive and make Golovkin miss, frustrate him, and the only way GGG wins is basically by decision on activity only.
