Comments Thread For: Ryan Martin, 50 Cent's SMS Verbally Agree to Terminate Contract

Ryan Martin is free at last.

Sidelined for the past nine months while held virtually captive by 50 Cent’s bankrupted promotional company, the unbeaten lightweight prospect was finally released from a dead-end contract that had stalled his career. The timing of the news couldn’t be better for the Chattanooga-bred, Cleveland-based boxer who turns 23 on Friday.

    Finally Free

Ryan Martin was the best of the group in my opinion. He's young, improving, and has a very bright future ahead of him.

I hope he gets signed soon by a major promoter soon and returns to action within a few months.

      Sharp kid

He will go far if he keeps the team he has in place and stays focused. So much of these type of kids get lost in the shuffle. Girls, kids, bad advise, money problems..... He needs a real promoter now, curious to see how it all unfolds. Ohio kids have all the talent just not the right attitudes. Hopefully he stays focused.

Damn, 50 really ****ed this promotional thing up. Obviously he was relying on Floyd to be his meal ticket. Without Mayweather, his company's gone from bad to worse. So much for being a 'great entrepreneur'.

good thing they gonna release him, no reason to ruin a young man career cause of your shortcommings.

50 cent is such a dumbass he ran that promotional company to the ground where at one point it looked promising.
