Comments Thread For: Bob Arum Says Fractured Business Has Affected Terence Crawford

Terence Crawford takes on Hank Lundy this Saturday night from the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York. For Crawford it's a year that hopefully brings him a big, marquee fight.

You can always make Postol and Crawford fight.

I have never heard anyone from the Haymon side say they "won't" do business with TR.

But I have heard(read) Arum saying he won't work with Haymon.

Why cant he fight Matthysse or Herrera or provodnikov or postol, Id even like to see him in with Amir Imam or the guy that beat him Granados, there are still better fights that can be made. Guys in there prime shouldnt be fighting every six months.

I feel like Crawford's path is one the clearest and least politically challenged.

Crawford-Postol crowns a lineal JWW champion.

Pacquiao-Bradley III establishes a lineal WW champion.

Crawford fights the winner. That's potential for 3 lineal titles in 3 weight classes for Crawford.

Arum promotes Crawford, Postol, Pacquiao, and Bradley. HBO currently televises all 4 guys. What's the roadblock?

"Now, if there was some sense in this thing and we supplied fighters for say Haymon and he supplied fighters to us, we would get better matches and he'd have better opponents."

              This screams desperation.

Also he had chance for Khan/Pac and made up some story to pass on it now he is stuck we the same matchup between a guy that isnt popular and a guy that stuck his foot in his mouth and lost alot of support.

              "In-house Bob" feeling the squeeze

Well HBO doesnt want anything to do with Postol according to Bob, Pac lost alot of support and says he is done which would be smart after this fiasco unless its a foreign fight (Asia maybe), Bradley isnt popular but demads a huge paycheck and if he loses and Pac retires then there is nothing for Crawford

I defend Arum in one thread now I have to go against him here. No OLD MAN, YOU'RE the one that don't want to do business with Haymon. No ***ing way Cameron Dunkin is walking away from the Amount of money Haymon throws around because he "Doesn't Want To Work With Haymon"

With respect to Arum, I call complete BS here! Don't drag others into your beef with Haymon because you're the one suing him and not Cameron Dunkin and the other Managers!

That's bull****. Haymon's only piece at 140 is Broner.

                    Postol
                    Provodnikov
                    Herrera
                    Benevidez
                    Granados
                    Orozco
                    Troyanovsky

All makeable fights. Crawford can literally clean out this division.
