i dont care about the ibf crap..if they belt org is doing a crap job u shouldnt want to be their champ..simple as that
Why are you so bitter .....if it sells 8k for this fight in a week it sells it..if people want to go to see it it's there money, do you realise how petty and envious you sound when you write this crap...let me guess tilli you was wanting it to sell hardly any tickets so you could write ....ahh golovkin can't sell tickets and and he is overated blah blah blah...and stuff like that...but yiu can't so you say something else....I seem to recall the **** fight that mayweather tried to sell us against berto and mugging us all off with the ppv cost ...at least with triple ggg he will give you blood for your money......you are very bitter and envious ...put it this way I would rather watch golovkin hunt a fighter down and beat him up than see f@cking mayweather grab and hugg all 12 rounds ...get over it your sound jealous..and also Roman Gonzalez is on ...amazing fighter to watch added with triple ggg.....but ohh no I bet u prefer mayweather vs berto and j'leon love on it

I kind of agree with you. This just goes to show that they could put dog sht in the ring and it will sale. Wade isn't the IBF #1 or even the #2 RANKED boxer for them. What's worse is a 42 year old boxer had a SD against him... I rank Wade probably as the #13-15th best MW. Yet he's fighting for a belt???

This is like supporting a shty movie. But now they got the greenlight to make a bunch of sequels of this shty movie.

Whoever bought tickets to this paid to watch a sparring match. And to see GGG beat up a human punching bag.

Most fighters are not. Canelo, PAC, Cotto, Floyd all had built in fan bases. Mexico, Philippines (really many Asians), PR, and Americans will buy in great numbers if they feel their homeboy is decent.

As a Eastern European, former U.S.S.R. really, he not only doesn't come with a built in base, but it's damn hard toget people to notice. If GGG was Mexican or American, he'd big freaken huge.

Having said that, it's probably only a Matt of time before he starts breaking through in a big way.

Canelo versus Khan is a mismatch, so what. It's not like Lara was begging GGG before IBF ruled GGG must do his mandatory.

100 of fights they passed on. That's hyperbole. I can't think of one. Even if you contend Ward's so called offer was legit, it wasn't a go until late 2016.

Lara's Twitter blunt aside, the man simply isn't calling K2, so it is rightly assumed he is just talking.

He wants to be overpaid, and probably thinks if he can make GGG call him, it'd be easier to get that big check.

I wonder why else he doesn't reach out to K2.

Ok, name 98 potential opponents that have agreed to get in with GGG, that are even as legit as a mandaotory defense.

GGG should want all the MW titles. It makes it so any MW who wants to be champion has to come see him.

Really, Ward couldn't even give enough free tickets away fighting his last fight in Oakland.

By few fighters are doing numbers like GGG is. GGG is clearly one of the top draws in the sport. Not bad for a Eastern European fighter who has been in the u.s. Since 2012.

It's not a ppv but I figure without Lemuix this event would do 47k

I wonder, did you watch Wade's last fight or you just going off popular view. Wade isn't the worst emergency replacement.

I'm sure even GGG would of preferred the IBF not mandate him, but GGG inherited the mandate. It has to be done at some point. Why not do it when the other two title holders are acting like biiiitches.

GGG is hardly at fault. They'd be happy as **** if Jacobs, Canelo, Suanders, or any other top MW would have be ready. Sadly they were not.

If people were half as hard on these cowards as they are on GGG, we'd have these fights.

Hell, Lara isn't taking on tough test at 154, why doesn't he get a few 160 fights in and call K2? I suspect it has something to do with what GGG could dude.

The #1 was Johnson who pulled out due to injury. Next man up was Wade.
                  http://www.ibfusbaregistration.com/i...?view=rankings

IBF often has some wonky ratings, but they are strict with there mandatory rules. It's why Karo Murat was mandatory to Hopkins, or Nadjib Mohammedi mandatory to Kovalev. Neither were good fights, but necessary for both Hopkins & Kovalev to keep their belts. Same situation here with Golovkin.

Keep in mind, Golovkin wanted Canelo next, who wasn't ready, or Billy Saunders, who flat out declined. Each would have prevented the Wade fight from happening since unification fights trump a mandatory, but as you know neither fighter wanted to fight Golovkin next, so here we are.

People buy these tickets because they want to see Golovkin fight live, obviously, and the guy has a fan-base. This isn't true for all fighters of course, for example, put Lara vs Zaveck as a main event and perhaps only 500 people buy tickets at full price.

ummm my point exactly..has been BS forever and ppl still have not learned...just go pile in mismatches...and then complain when they dont get the fights they want..

listen dude..stop responding to me..first of all u cannot comprehend and 2nd of all you are not a boxing fan.. you are a GGG fan boy...i never mentioned another fighter..i did not critique ggg or anyone else who doesnt want to fight him..i critiqued the fans who show up to these events as if they are not giving them a pass to continue to put on mismatches..and i have this problem with anyone fighting mismatches...

canelo khan is not a mismatch..it has it's possibilities to be one, but it all has canelo's corner in the equation as well..and that always gives the other side a chance...and even if it is a mismatch..IT HAS NAMES,..at least do that for teh boxing fans...ggg's biggest name is **** himself..nobody else we care about on his boxrec
