Dirrell was arguably "slicker" than Ward in the amateur days because he was the faster of the two and more elusive. I always thought the one guy at 168 that would give Ward the most problems and potentially beat him was Dirrell. But then of course his career went down the crapper ever since the Abraham win and pulling out of the Ward fight. Boxing is about styles and Dirrell would be a very interesting match against Ward, back then at least. We really haven't seen Ward fight anyone like Dirrell before.

I'm from Australia and GGG is selling PPV's here. I've been buying them for a few years now. GGG is well known here. Canelo isn't. GGG has been making a lot of money internationally for some time. GGG is quietly making money that some people wouldn't even know about. He's doing great with or without Canelo.

Don't worry about Golovkins financial situation compared to PBC fighters ok? He's not complaining so need for us to complain. Plus he always gets international venue on top of the American revenue; he's fine.

Anyways, if you think for a second Golovkin would refuse a 159 pound catchweight with Canelo you're crazy. Of course he would, he's not ******. His whole deal has been trying to say fighting at 155 for the middleweight WBC belt that he's mandatory to is wrong, which it is. With the media, Abel Sanchez and his team say they wont' do 155 and will do 160, again this is media talk, the same as all promoters & camps do all the time. It's pre-negotiating tactics that has been going on for a hundred years. It's nothing new. At the end of the day (or I should say end of the year), when the two sides are negotiating, there is no way in hell Golovkin would not accept a 159 or even 158 pound catchweight. That isn't a problem here. Nor is money (K2/GGG have no problem with Canelo taking the lionshare of the pot, that's never been an issue either). The problem is if Canelo/Golden Boy actually intend on fighting Golovkin next. That's the issue.

You can't blame golovkin for no one fighting him...it's a mandatory so he has to fight it ...it's also ppv which means you don't have to buy and don't even have to watch it...what about mayweather vs berto ... broner vs pheophane......wilder vs Molina ...garcia vs saika...ppv means u don't have to buy it so what's the problem with it...I know it's not ideal but it could have been canelo and we know who's fault that is......if it's on box nation I will watch it if not I'll stream it......it is what it is ...

Don't get so worked up over made up numbers. Ggg Monroe cost HBO 1.5m, Donaire Rigo was 2m+. Sure it was more important, but super bantams always get paid way less, welcome to boxing. And obviously Ggg is a bigger star than Rigo and Donaire put together

Most of the tickets are comped and lowly priced. Not really shocking.
